I purchased V-Guard Smart 1500 Inverter vide Invoice No-441 dt.26.06.2019 from your registered vendor Battery House Company, Vijay Nagar, Kanpur-208005. Serial no of product is [protected].
On 4th January, 2022 my inverter started to beep. I simply switched off the inverter and registered a complaint for the same.
On 7th January, 2022 a service engineer visited my location. After seeing the invoice he told me that your product is out of warranty. Then without touching the inverter he told me that the PCB board will be replaced and he has already brought the same with him. When I asked the cost he told me that the PCB Board Cost is Rs.1350/- and service charge will be Rs. 460/-. Total cost will be Rs. 1810/-. If I return the old board to him he will not claim service charge.
Now my question is:
Without touching the inverter how did the service engineer come to know the PCB Board is defective and needs replacement?
If the PCB Board was defective why did he offer a discount for this?
I have purchased the VGuard product because of its Brand Value in the market. Not only inverter, I have purchased many products of this brand because of their authenticity. But I don't understand why should I pay Rs. 1810/- for a product which I purchased at Rs. 4957/- just two and half years back? Where is the brand authenticity if a product gets damaged just after completion of warranty period.
No one from Vguard is addressing the issue. No response from Vguard for providing the solution. All online complains for providing service is getting rejected after two days of registration. Was this information helpful? |
