Booked a 12 seater traveler to Chikmagalur from Bangalore for 2 days. It was all going smooth, when at the end when we reached home, the driver started demanding more money. We showed him the website that said that the driver allowance covers food and stay, but he did not agree and said that he won't move from the spot unless we paid him his food money. The amount was not big but what is wrong is wrong. When you promise something you should keep upto that promise. Moreover, the driver was asking extra allowance for driving after 7, we then showed him on the website that it is mentioned that extra allowance is given when driving between 10pm - 6am. For this he agreed that he would take extra for one day only as that day he had driven after 10.
We feel he wanted to extort money from us, as much as he could. We paid him the amount for his food but this is not acceptable. Either state clearly that you are not having any control over your drivers and that you cannot take responsibility for what the driver does.
I tried calling them 10-15 times, but the call did not go through even once. They claim 24x7 support, well currently their support is down. A good experience ruined by antics of a driver who says that he got a call from someone to pick us up from this this location. I mean seriously, they don't even contact drivers. What kind of a service is this. No communication between the company and them.
