There has been a problem with out Videocon TV set where it switches off automatically & a complain was submitted. Technician who visited reached home unannounced & didn't wait to check the TV set. Instead he left without even having a look since there were guests at home at that time. TV services were disconnected pending the visit charge & TV set problem is still there. This was a horrible customer service experience; please have technicians who can actually bother to check the problem instead of just visiting to harass the customers.

    Last week we had decided to add sports pack to our south silver package just because of we want to watch IPL. When we called up the customer care they have advised to pay for the south silver sports.So we have paid Rs.285/- and everything was perfect for 2 days. After that rest of the sports channels are getting but NO sony max or sony six.

    And we are tired of there customer care they are not at all picking up the calls.
    I have send several emails to them, Still No reply.

    Such A Horrible Service!

      I have purchased new SIM with mobile number [protected] and I am getting repeated calls and SMS on my mobile to recharge my vidiocon d2h, while I haven't have any vidiocon d2h connection. I am generally in roaming so it reduces my mobile balance to take the call, as they are form different numbers. In their website they haven't have any link to remove mobile number.
      I request to remove my mobile number [protected] from any of there existing account as RTN.

      Thanks! Hope I will not get calls too because I am generally in Roaming so that costs my balance.
      Videocon D2H is increasing its channel pricing drastically that is 25 to 50% on each month on there channels. Gradually Had made all the free channels paid. You will not find a single channel for kid that is simple rhymes and they made is paid at a cost of 25 INR per month.

        I recharged the videocon d2h online. After that for confirmation i call customer care about that in which they spoke to dial 1 to change the package. Actually i thought that i need to dial 1 for talking to customer executive .When i show on my tv screen that my basic package was changed i call the customer care for changing the same that. The executive mr sunil patel (At call centre at ahmedabad ), he told that it is company policy that you cannot change the package. So it was unnecessary harassment by keeping such no 1 and prompting consumer for that so by mistake they dial 1 and the package is change in this company is looting the general public.Plz help me to resolve the query. I request that strict action should be taken against the company

          Customer i'd[protected]...This id was recharged on 26/03/2016.But the very next day a message started popping on the screen which read next due date for recharge to be 16/04/2016. I mean why should i recharge every 20 days when i am paying for a month...And then on 17/04/2016 all channels were gone...Really i repent my decision to go with videocon... Its been only 2 months since i have opted for there service but truly i am fed up of videocon...Further there is no one to attend calls on their customer care number and no replies of mails coming back from their side..I would recommend anyone reading this, never give a try to such failed companies...Always go with trusted ones. Thank you!

                Hello ! My number is [protected]. I am getting calls on this number from videocon d2h bangalore. Even though i am not their customer. They call me and text me like thanks for recharging etc etc.
                I called them and informed about this problem even after that their call got increased sometimes 7 times a day.
                Texts are also keep on coming. What to do.. Mentally go sick. I mean i am not there customer i dont have their connection. Then how can you do this.
                Please take immediate action.

                  I'm Using Videocon D2H service for past 4years and today(7th April'16) I downgrade my package from South silver sports to South silver.
                  After downgrade I got successful downgrade message to my mobile, but Connection got dismissed and for that I frequently called Service center to resolve the issue. But NO PROPER TECHNICAL PEOPLE available through phonic help, very poor support and they taken complaint as it will resolve within 5pm but in vain.
                  Again I called them and this time executive connected to her supervisor where he also not technically good enough not resolved my issue, he said our engineer will visit to home and check for issue with service charges applicable.
                  I demanded if any hardware issue means I'm ready to pay but for technical support I can't, but he forcefully refused to listen and pulled me to pay if help required and even for blank screen without resuming services main account balance also melted as daily rent.

                    I m using videocon d2h since 4 years..for every 3 months i get some service complain...they charge 150 for 1 month towards service only...i m fed of giving this service charge very frequently..upto service period it will be ok but after tat i get problem...the service is poor or they just playing i dont know...my id is 77504401

                    I AM TIRED NOW, FROM A-LA-CARTE I made channel selections, I don't know how ZeeNews, Zee 24 taas channels were not Selected! Now I tried 15-20 times Online to change it it shows ERROR and asks to contact CC! Tried calling CC after 100s attempts call got connected and They said You will have to try online only, I called again they said we took your complaint, its 3rd day now, STILL NOT RESOLVED

                      Hello Sir,

                      I am writing this complaint having full confidence in you and your service. Hoping that you will resolve my pending issue with videocon d2h which i am tracking since few days now.

                      Usually I go for a long term recharge, (full year recharge at once, so i get longitivity recharge benefit of 30 days extra).
                      I recharged my d2h last year dated 20 June 2015 (Gold HD pack), so i would expect it to get finished on 20 June 2015 + 30 days longitivity benefit, which comes to 20 July 2016.

                      When I enquired about it, I got to know that they have activated one of their active service through automatic IVR call, some times back in July 2015 and also asked me to call back if they want me to discontinue it. Resulting in loosing nearly 2 months of my HD pack. (which is around 475/- a month). I asekd them to provide a call recording if they have any where in gave them approval of activating such service. Then they say they don't have any recording as such but it was activated automatically through RTN. Dont know what that RTN is...

                      So my question to them was, why the service was activated automatically withour my approval ? and who gave them authourity to play with customers money.

                      I have attached the whole conversation to and fro...

                      What do you mean by automatically ? Who gave you the authority to play with our money ?
                      Do you want to retain your customers or you want to break the association with them by cheating them ? Do you encourage customers for longevity recharge or you discourage us by cheating this way ?
                      You tell me from your end itself that, you activated the service automatically and also you yourself auto renewed from your side ?
                      Because of your this fault i'm loosing my 2months HD pack (which comes at nearly around 400/- per month, that means nearly totals to Rs 800/-)
                      in that case, I would like to rethink to keep the association with videocon d2h and rethink to get the service from your company.

                      At any cost i dont want to loose my money because of your mistake.
                      Look at your marketing policy: during activation you do it automatically, but to deactivate it you expect us to call and tell.
                      This cheating types of marketing policies wont help you in long run.
                      In fact you look at my call records, i myself had inquired randomly to one of call received from your end (the call which i had received was for recording service) and had strictly informed not to call me for such services and stop any service if currently, this incident happened was around 10-12 months back. At any cost i want my validity of 2months back.

                      You tell me whether you want me to continue with your videocon d2h or should stop your service after expiry of current recharge ?

                      On 22nd March 2016, morning Suddenly my HD set box stopped working giving "No Signal error".
                      Thinking some minor problem and will get resolved I waited that day. Next day on 23rd March evening after work when i came back home, i got to know from my wife that still the set top box is not working. So i tried removing smart card and gently cleaning it reinserted it back properly, still the same problem persisted. So i called up vedioncon d2h customer care service, the executive at the other end tried some on the fly resolution but still it was not resolved so he registered the complaint.Next day 24th March evening when executive from vediocon d2h came. Then he checked here and there and said it was just a smart card reading issue and just wiped the card on his jeans and resolved the problem, my box started working.Wow...We checked the balance amount was Rs. 1623/-

                      Same time i observed that my Name, Customer ID, City and other info was not seen in account details except the "End of subscription date" and "Account last updated on". So he called the center on the fly and got all the information updated. However i observed that suddenly the balance was reduced toRs.1304/- I asked him why is it so. He said it will be corrected later. He took 170/- charges.He also said 170/-Rs will be credited to my account in balance. so i reconfirmed from him the corrected amount which my account details should show up (1623 + 170).

                      Today I just checked the account details, and found nothing is updated yet. So called up customer care after waiting for 8 mins or so, after your music was over one lady executive got connected. I explained the details. Finally she transferred the call to some senior executive indicating he will solve the problem.

                      I repeated whole story to him, i got to know from him my current recharge will end on 23-May-2016.So i asked why ? Because i knew i had recharged on 20th-June2015 + 30days long term benefit so 19th July 2016 should be the ideal validity date. I asked himself what do you mean by a year, and ideally when my year should get over if i have rechrged it[protected]. Now I got to know some new story from him that just after a month I recharged, from july onwards some service was provided to me free of cost and it was renewed automatically later on. This was completely new story to hear from him. when repeatedly i asked why the unwanted service was activated and who gave you authourity to auto renew the unwanted services to the cutomers, he was with no words and hanged up the call in between...

                      Note: There were few a times i received a call, for some other services like recording and some children channels, but i had strictly denied them as we don't have any small child to subscribe for such channel and everytime had asked them not to call me for such services again and if i need one i myself will get back to you.

                      my issues:
                      1) Why the unwanted service was activated ?
                      2) Why such unwanted service was auto renewed, who gave you the authority to play with customer's hard earned money ?
                      3) who will pay me the 3 days grace, when set top box was not working.
                      4) As indicated by visiting executive why the amount of Rs 170/- not credited to my account yet.
                      5) Where is my long term recharge benefit.


                      Hope with all this I expect my GOLD HD packs current validity will be reset correctly considering all the above mentioned points.

                          My videocon d2h customer id is[protected]. I have recently shifted from murugeshpalya to hsr layout sector 2 and hence raised a request for relocation on 30th march 2016. De-installation happened on 31st morning around 11 am and i took the dish with me to hsr layout. Now the re-instalation is pending for 4 days and today is 3rd april. On 1st april a guy named satheesh had come to do reinstallation but his attitude was pathetic. In my apartment terrace access is not allowed after 6 pm but i had made a personal request based on which he was able to access the terrace till around 7 pm. But he was not able to complete the installation and insisted that he will come the next morning to complete it.

                          Next morning on 2nd april i called customer care and asked them to send another personnel before 5pm to resolve this issue and they promised that it will be completed. When nobody came i somehow spoke with yusuf from bannerghatta region manager and after listening to my issue promised me that somebody will come on 3rd morning to resolve my issue, but again no response the next morning.

                          Then on 3rd morning (Around 9:30 am) i tried calling customer care again and spoke to fatima who again gave a false promise to resolve this within 8 working hours. During these conversations i constantly kept telling to send an executive before 5 pm due to society constraints but nobody took a note of this. The engineer came to our premises at 6:15 pm which was too late and hence had to return.

                          It is now 4 days and i see no signs of this issue being resolved. I have already lost 3 days of recharge and rs 400 worth money which was taken while de-installing the dish. The worst part is that these people dont even care and simply say that you may forward your complain to anyone but none will help you

                          I am completely frustated and want to ensure that is forwarded to as many people as possible so that they avoid taking videocon connection. Will also share this on facebook & twitter.

                            This is to file a complaint against videocon d2h service engineer anil yadav (Mob:[protected]). He visited today for repair work for extension of wire but i am shocked by his behavior. During his repair work he damaged wall plaster and table which he used for standing. He stood on table wearing his shoes and didn't even clean it later. When i asked him to do that, he replied arrogantly and refused to even clean his shoe marks from table. I told that he will be fully paid after he completes his work but he again misbehaved and stated that he does not care about money that will be deducted automatically. I am not sure what kind of service they offer these days but its beyond tolerance. Kindly look into this case and take necessary action.

                              I requested for relocation on 31.03.2016 morning and as per call representative the relocation was confirmed by 16.30 hrs on 31.03.2016.
                              I was waiting till 17.00 hrs then, called back on the same day but only the complain moved forward.

                              On 01.03.2016 still i called two times some of videocon d2h reps. Called but nothing moved on ground.
                              I lost 3 days time in this which should be compensated.

                                I raised a ticket to replace my Videocon D2h Remote through customer care. And they said that the request was raised and it will get resolved with in 24 hours. But, I didn't receive any remote as such with in the time permit and they dont even communicate with me. So, I only called back the customer care (not a toll free number) and they kept my call in hold and they were discussing internally and finally after 45 mins in the call.. they said that they will raise a complaint on the service manager and will get resolve next day. So, they have made a false promise and violated their policy norms itself.

                                Even next day the same story repeated... I didn't get any call from neither service team nor customer care team. Again called back the customer care and talked about 30 mins again.. again and again they are saying will raise a complaint on that. Finally, after 4 days with hell lot of calls from my side I got a new remote.. Its all about to just replace the old one to new one thats it.. nothing like some technical issue which can't be sort it out..

                                But, when I forgot to recharge an monthly amount for just 1 day they have charged fine from me.. which is ridiculous. The same thing I will expect it from them also right ? If they violated their policy itself then they have to pay for me right ?

                                  They have made such a money plundering policy for ala carte custermer so that we wont take ala carte rather take their own customized base packages & they keep raising money and we waste our money using them. They allow one month locking period with base package and 3 months locking period with own customised & no base package.

                                  Same problem is here videocon is not removing my ala carte channels too, this condition should be removed as soon as possible, TRAI should also make some rule for it so that we can remove any channel as and when we want.

                                    I Rupak Kumar Das, barring with registered mobile no- [protected], Sub Id[protected], have subscribed for a new connection on[protected] at 23:21:27 IST. After the installation later I came to know there are few channels which the set-top box (HD-6666) is not supporting so I registered a first complaint; the very next day I tried to view the selected channels and I was able to view as I noticed that automatically the problem was resolved there after I cancelled the complaint. But I was mistaken because the very next day again I noticed the few selected channels was giving the same trouble. So I registered a complaint and the technician people have visited my house after the checking the fault I was told that there is a complaint with the set-top box HD-6666. And he was trying to replace with unbox HD-(with the older version) which I have not accepted. As I paid amount for the new one with the newer version than why should go for the older version with unbox item? And therefore without my notice they have changed the adapter with older one which is connected near the dish. So you tell me If I wanted to go for the second hand item in a lower price than I would have bought it from OLX, Quikkr or any other source. Hence I paid for the new one and its not even a week older. Then why shall I compromise. I request you to replace all the items with the new and with the same model. If not then you send any of your authorised person and take away the kit and refund me the full item as it is giving problem from day one.

                                      This week we had a problem, the some channels are not working and many time no signal problem, so we called the customer care, after long argument with the customer care they accepted to send the engineer for a free service, when the service person arrived here he did just updating the software in the stb box, thats what he did and then the box started working good. When i told them this is was communicated as free of charge service..
                                      I paid 170 rupees to d2h service engineer.
                                      Why should a customer pay for the mistakes of the company.

                                        I recharged Rs. 750 between January 15 and February 28 2016. It seemed that someone from Airtel d2h just changed my pack without my consent and my money was deducted so quickly that now I am even unable to see the addon which should actually run till 28 February.

                                        I contacted airtel d2h customer care twice and they took complaint and told I would get the amount back in two days. However, nothing happened even after 10 days.

                                        I am unhappy with this d2h service and I wont recharge till they return the money they drained from my account
