I purchased Videocon Z45Q Star in Nov 2015 from Askmebazaar.com. The MRP of the mobile was over Rs.4000/- but I bought at a discount from Askmebazaar.com and I paid around Rs.3, 000/-. Since last month, the battery was heating up and also battery was draining very fast. I took to the Videcon Authorized service centre at Chrompet and they said problem is with Mother Board (PCB) and agreed to replace it free of cost since it is under warranty.. I gave it for service on 26th Aug 2016. My job sheet number is VASCTN013J[protected]. I called Videocon helpline [protected] on 7th Sep 2016 to know the status of the mobile, but the your people said my repair is under process. I asked them how many days would it take for them to repair it and they say "we cannot commit on the time" When I asked will it take even 2 months, they simply repeat "We cannot commit on the time, you will receive SMS once its done" Why should there be a helpline if they cannot give even a tentative date? I am ready to wait for one more week, but they should atleast give a specific time to return back the product, but company is refusing to give even a tentative date. I am really worried that they will take weeks, if not months. That is why company not giving any commitment on the date. If I don't get my handset back before 15th Sept, in good condition, I want Videocon to give me new handset free of cost with same configuration.
