Vistara Airlines — regarding refund on cancelled flight | |||
I had confirmed cancellation of my recently booked flight on 23rd march 2020 with booking id[protected] and pnr - mqzzu3. I spoke directly to the airline vistara and they have proceeded with my cancellation. As per communication with vistara customer care agent, i was told that the refund money of around 7k has already been initiated from vistara's end. Also the whole ticket amount was inr 11683, and in which airline cancellation fee is inr 3180 and emt cancellation fee is inr 300, even if all necessary deductions are made i am liable to the remaining amount of money i spent on booking. So as per the process i had to contact easemytrip (Emt) for obtaining my refund. I tried contacting emt regarding my refund and was unable to contact them so i proceeded with posting a complaint against them on consumer forum. Based on that complaint i received below remark from emt end: "dear ms. Chetna, greetings from easemytrip.com! This is to inform you that full refund is not received from the airlines of your booking. We have processed refund to you according to the fare rules. Please check the remarks updated by the airline in your booking - 3. Vi/auk *kindly process the refund as per fare rules 0251z 2 in case you have any received written confirm from the airlines side that they have processed full refund to the agency then please share that mail with us on [protected]@easemytrip.com regards, care team Remark date[protected]:24:09" And here i come to know that vistara has not initiated money from their end. I don't know what kind of cheating is this. Firstly you tell your customers about the money that would be initiated after that you yourself don't abide by your own words. Whenever any conversation takes place between a customer care agent and a customer, the call is recorded. I had called them on[protected] morning around 9 am. Please do refer to what was told to me on the call and proceed with my refund money asap and stop fooling your customers. I would like you to take strict action against vistara and and ask them to initiate my refund so that it can be returned to me via emt. This is complete cheating and consumer breach of trust and will not be tolerated. I have attached the ticket with complete details. Please do cross check and process my refund asap.
