Respected Sir,

With due respect I'm writing to you with lots of faith and hope. This incident though not new at R V College of Engineering during external Lab examinations.
This time again it proved that under VTU the "caste, religion & origin" are given more importance than the "talent".
In our Network Laboratory External Examination (sub code: 06CSL77) , We had a wonderful external who preferred student's origin before the knowledge He/She had.
This "External (details can be availed from ISE dept office, RVCE)" during N/W Laboratory Examination 2009-10 at Information Science Department of RVCE, did not even bother to check outputs for students belonging to Dharwar & Hubli, and blindly gave them 49 out of 50 though they did not compile a single line of code. And to Us instead of doing the programs correctly and modifications correctly gave just 37 out of 50 just because We are not from Karnataka, specifically Hubli/Dharwar.

Is this fair Sir? The same happened with us during Physics Laboratory and Mechanical Workshop.


Please help us. Each single marks count for us and No external has the right to play with it without any fault of ours.

We are the students of Information Science and Engineering at RVCE. And We've enough proves and witnesses to speak out for the same issue.
Please Help us in getting us the marks We deserve.

We'll be obliged to have a fair investigation in the same issue from AICTE.

i applied for reval of 3rd sem marks are 25,28,30.after reval 25,29,30.what should i do now apply for challenge or not.i showed a photocopy of 30 marks to my teacher he said its a gamble. now which subject shall i apply for challenge i have got 5 backs need to clear one for eligibility.i m screwed.


i showed it to my lecturer the sub in which i got 30 he is telling that he is not sure .i have applied for challenge and university forms r out.shall i fill up regular subjects. if i get promoted i will b havin 4 backs in vth sem. now a lot of time has gone and exams r near but still challenge result of 3rd sem is not out.how will i get internal marks.will it be wise to drop a year and clear backlogs bcoz i have heard that degree is awarded on basis of 5,6,7,8 sem suggest me sumthing help me.vtu destroyed me save my soul?

I have applied for Duplicate Degree certificate on 12 th August 2009 @ Visveswaraya Technological University, Belgaum, Since the authority guy was on leave for next 2 days they told will be couriering the degree certificate to postal address within a week. Weeks passed like anything till now i have not received my degree certificate. I tried to contact VTU via telephone 90 % of the time they will not receive the telephone which they had given me, the number is[protected]/ 138. Luckily they picked phone call 1 month back, that to after 1.5 months they told will be sending it by 1 week or so. I dont know y working people over there think as if they are doing a favour , it is there work to do. That also passed already 1 month over totally 2.5 months over i have not received the certificate, If i call to other VTU block they will give the same number to contact but none of them are receiving nor replying. I have paid 1700 rs DD also. I am feared whether it will be losed.

Please help me from this phathetic drama from VTU. I hope i can get any response atleast by sending this mail.

I had applied for consolidated marks sheet on 14 aug in college through which the application was forwarded to vtu, belgaum.. Also I had applied for provisional degree certificate on 8/9/09 through speed post. I have not yet recieved the same as of today. My USN no is 1db04me003

VTU has been known for SPOILING students life rather than building their life n their carrier..they do not correct the papers properly and if corrected then they are evaluated by the people who do not know the ABCD of the subject..recently in the 6th sem results,i had never expected a back but got three back logs out of which two were around 28 an d29..but when applied for the revaluation not a single mark increased..i have my own doubt...

I had applied for the degree certificate from VTU in May 2008 and I have not received it yet. I'm a 2004 year pass out from Dr. Ambedkar college bangalore. I called the VTU belgaum office 2-3 times everyday to enquire about the cert which I've not received even after an year.

Everytime a diff person picks up and asks for all the details and later asks me to call at either 3pm or 4pm but I dont get any valid info from them.

Please let me know where can I file a complaint or case against them. The website is too crap and doesn't have a feed back form. Any message if one tries to send results in an error.

Its really a shame to tell that this is a Technological University which handles 100+ Engineering colleges and doesn't have

1) A good error-free website
2) A call centre for queries
3) An internal database for administrative employees to search for any status
4) Ignoring all above they dont even have computers to maintain records I guess.
