On Dec 13th 2021, callertunes service was activated on my Postpaid Vodafone mobile number. I hadn't activated any such service myself. My mobile was not even in use during this activation process. It was after some time that I noticed the activation. I immediately deactivated the service but the charge was still added to my monthly bill. I complained regarding this and was told that as this was a one-time thing, the charges would be waived off from the final bill (attached). That matter was closed.
But again today, on 18th Feb 2022, the same thing happened. Callertunes service was activated without my permission. The whole message thread from Vodafone is attached. I deactivated the service, but the charges are again shown on my monthly bill (attached). This is for a service that neither have I activated willingly nor I have used a single time.
This cannot keep repeating again and again. It's a wastage of time and money, and a matter of sheer inconvenience for me.
I would like the callertune charge to be waived off from my bill and for the company to not activate this service again without my doing so.
