Had asked for a family plan number to be closed. The agent messed up by just delinking [protected] but forgetting to close the account.
Without intimation the collections team started calling my senior citizen mother and my college going daughter and threatening them. I called a number of times and was given false promises. But then my number and afterwards my daughter's number was blocked. I kept requesting that their complaints team is taking time to revert hence I should not be penalized. I was coldly informed that i had to pay the 907 rupees before any action. I ended up paying that amount too just so that my daughter is not stranded outside without a phone.
I was then called by a Team Leader on a weekend night and promised that this would be escalated as they accepted the fault post investigation. But since then there has been no response and I have followed up again. I was promised a callback from a Manager and an associate ended up calling me. And he was extremely rude and unhelpful. This call was today i.e. 11th Dec 2021.
Complaint number given to me was[protected]not sure if this is correct)
Please ask Vodafone to check the calls I have made from [protected]. I can share the multiple call recordings of the collections team and the conversation with this really rude agent today.
