Vodafone — deductions for vas which i had not asked for or activated

I've had random amounts being deducted from my account, rs 49 and then a few days later rs 14 which i've been told are for vas. I've not applied for any vas services that i am aware of but vodafone are refusing to refund the deducted amount citing that "the service had been activated through the flash link on your number". I have no idea what this means or how the service was ever activated.

I have asked for details on what exactly the above means and exact dates and times of when these services were activated as i'm am 100% sure they were not activated by me.

I don't mind paying for services that i've asked for but deductions like this are plain and simple deceitful and theft of credit from my account.

Just to add that I am currently in the UK, the SIM is with me in the UK and isn’t in a phone which is why I don’t understand how a VAS was able to switched on and how this happened and enabled. Also the reply I’ve had back suggests that I somehow enabled this service, how is it possible to do this? You are looking at this issue as I’ve already lodged a query in the service numbers posted above. I would like Rs49 and Rs14 refunded as soon as possible as my current balance as a result of the deductions is now only Rs7.81.

How can I do that? I’d rather not post my phone numbers or email address on a public forum. The service numbers I’ve given above are service request numbers, can they not be used to get my details. I’ve now had a reply from your complaints department, they’ve stated that “ This service was activated on 24-Feb-2020 at 07:25:27 am (IST) and deactivated on 04-Mar-2020 by us as per your request” The extra Rs 14 that was deducted was also part of this service. As I said above, the SIM was last used when I was in India last August and the SIM is currently with me in the UK and has not been put into a phone since it was last used in India in August.

Vodafone are saying to me that at 1:55am UK time, that I must have put the a SIM in a phone, got a pop up to activate the VAS to which I then clicked Yes? Why would I do this at that sort of time in the morning, especially since I have no need to use the SIM and also because I know that doing this would incur international roaming charges?

I say once again, the SIM has not been used, Vodafone should be able to confirm when it was last used and that I did not activate any such VAS which is why I am requesting that the charges of Rs 49 and Rs 14 be credited back to my account. I would also like an explanation of how enabling of this service could be done without my consent or permission.
