[Resolved]  Vodafone — High Charges in postpaid billing and cheating in corporate plans

Vodafone is not more happy to help you, they are cheating the people and when caught there is no response from them. Now I have decided to drag them in consumer court. I am holding corporate 99 plan for my two post paid numbers, they changed the plan long back without my request and started billing high amount. Now they are falsely claiming that I requested them to change the plan when I caught red hand for cheating. Below is the conversation happened with them and they did not respond me after that. Please take required actions. Thanks! We regret for the inconvenience caused to you. As per telephonic conversation today on [protected] at 2:02 PM, we wish to inform that, tariff plan of your above mentioned Vodafone number has already been changed to VG_Corp_IT_99 w.e.f.05/08/2014 for both the numbers. Kindly find the attachment of VG_Corp_IT_99 plan details for your reference.  (VIJAY->) Not sure if this is changed back to VG_Corp_IT_99. I did not receive any SMS confirming the plan change. Even I sent SMS “Myplan” to 111, and I received “Your Active on: 50MB VMC+VL+Iphone_2G Zero free unit package – COFU 25 L+N …..” Anyways I asked for clarification not for changing something/plan, so how did you decide to change it without my confirmation? Is that the same way you changed my plan without any request? As the tariff plan has been changed in mid bill cycle the earlier benefits of the previous plan i.e. ST_CR_MV_E_Talk_99 for the number would be lapsed for both the numbers. The rental and the discounts will be charged on pro-rata basis as the tariff plan has been changed in mid bill cycle. The benefits of the new plan will be applicable from midnight onwards. Once the plan is changed, you would be receiving a SMS from Vodafone confirming the plan change.  I did NOT receive any SMS confirming the plan change. Once the tariff plan is changed, you can also SMS “Myplan” to 111 (toll free) for the details of the plan.  I sent SMS “Myplan” to 111, and I received “Your Active on: 50MB VMC+VL+Iphone_2G Zero free unit package – COFU 25 L+N …..” Please be informed that no SMS promo will be applicable on Peak days. For all the details on Peak day list, kindly visit our website. www.vodafone.in Further, we regret to inform you that we had revalidated the bills and the charges are correct as per tariff plan ST_CR_MV_E_Talk_99. Further, as per the company policy, you’re “VG_Corp_IT_99” tariff plan was migrated to “ST_CR_MV_E_Talk_99”plan.  What policy is this? Without customer’s confirmation how you can change the plan? Is your company policy important than Customer? And if so, the why do you cheat while selling the new connection but offering corporate plans? Please note that, SMS intimations were already sent to your Vodafone mobile number informing the same between 7th to 9th February for the number 93xx* and between 28th to 29th November for the number [protected].  I did not receive any such confirmation messages on any dates for any numbers. Otherwise I could have stopped using Vodafone on same time. Can you suffice the proof for same? As you were in an old plan with high call rates and low benefits which were to be discontinued from Vodafone end we proactively changed your plan. So that, you continue to enjoy Vodafone services as before without any interruption.  Why should I pay for your mistakes? Advise me how you are going to adjust for this extra payments?
