Vodafone India — [protected] - Billing active even after getting the number deactivated. | |||||
This is Md Imtiyaz Hussain who used the vodafone number [protected]. I have been a loyal customer of Vodafone postpaid and have never missed any of my bill payments for the 8 years. I was relocating to another country and so I wanted to disconnect my number. Since I had to leave urgently I could not contact vodafone when I was there in India. After coming here I called the customer care dept and asked them the process of disconnecting the number in my absence. They told me that I have to send someone on my behalf with an authorization letter, ID and residence proof. As told by them I sent one of my friend with the 3 required documents and an outstanding bill of 1600. He paid the full amount and disconnected the number. After about 3 months I got an email from Vodafone stating that my bill was pending. When I called them again to my surprise the customer care rep told me that they have not received any request for deactivation of my number and I still have an outstanding amount of 1900 Rs. Now I have received another email from the Vodafone legal team threatening to take legal action. After being a loyal customer for 8 years this is what I get in return. I am attaching all the communication which I had with Vodafone over emails. A guy called Digamber Yedure (digamber.[protected]@vodafone.com) was the person who took all the documents at the vodafone store for deactivation of my number. And i had an email with seema.[protected]@vodafone.com Please help me. Was this information helpful? | |||||
