Vodafone India — Bad customer service , wrong promises and rude behaviour | |||
I have vodafone Mumbai post paid number [protected] for more than 4 years. I am now shifting out of Mumbai but wanted to keep the same number so I had taken the roaming plan for this postpaid number. But, there was some issue with the sim and hence it had to be replaced. I gave the request for new sim at Amritsar lawrence road vodafone store on 18th March. Mr Lakshya handled my query and told me that my sim would take 1 week to come from Mumbai. When I asked for my reference number of the request I was told that there is no reference number given for such requests and that I should visit the store on 25 th March. When I visited the store on 25th he gave me a sim and told that it will take 4 hrs -24 hrs to activate the sim. I again visited the store on 26 th March at 12pm and I was told that they had given me wrong sim and that they will not be able to help me in any way.Pathetic service. I also met their store manager Mr Varun and I was told that they will not be able to help me in any way. and that it is indefinite time that will take to solve my query. I have the following questions: 1) Why was I not given false promises? Why the staff gave me dummy sim which they had not checked 2) Is being rude and not being accountable are the core values of vodafone? 3) is Vodafone pan India company or they are only responsible for their circles?
