Vodafone India — Billing issue | |||||
This is regarding my outstanding bill for number which is currently due inr 21, 354. I wanted to bring it to your notice that i travelled to hongkong few weeks back and wasn’t aware of the international roaming charges that were applicable on my number for that country. When i reached there my number wasn’t working so i contacted the vodafone team and got the same activated after 2 days. I was not aware of the data roaming charges which were so high at that time. There were some issues going on at your end which delayed my activation and the same matter has been escalated to you already. You may check the same in your system as well and the team had agreed upon it. Since i am a very old and loyal customer of yours, i request you to waive off half of my bill so that i can pay it immediately and enjoy my services. I don’t want to switch to any other networks as vodafone has excellent connectivity services. In respect of this issue, i received a call from mr. Varun on monday (29-may) for bill payment, he waived off 30% of my bill on my request. I appreciate the response i got from your team but i don’t think i would be able to pay this much as i wasn’t aware of the fact that the international roaming charges would be so high. Also i am not in a position to bear inr 15000 at this moment and request you to waive it off by 50%. Everyday i am calling up the customer care and explaining my issue again and again to make them understand the matter. At the end of the call, i am told that i would get a call back from the team within 24 hours but no help. I am a loyal customer from last 5 years but never expected this response from vodafone. Also, i failed to understand why my services weren't stopped when i had reached the maximum credit limit of my number which was inr 2000. Now if you do not want to give any waiver or discounts, atleast tell me the same that you cannot process or something, instead you keep asking me to wait for 24 hours for a call back from your team. Vodafone customer care sucks, people answering the calls are not even educated enough or are not aware about the company plans and terms and conditions.
I think Vodafone is then cheating with all customers by making them believe that the bill will never breach credit limit and if it reaches, they will shut down the services. They should have shut down your services as soon as the bill was reached Rs 2000, you are being cheated and everybody else who is a customer to Vodafone.
