Vodafone India — Charge money without any intimation

This is regarding my bill (mobile number - [protected]) generated in April 2016. I had 3G service on my number activated using *111# and in that description of the service activation it was mentioned 3G Unlimited 1GB at 250. Even after service activation it showed 3G Unlimited plan and its usage. It was never shown anything regarding any capping or additional charges after using 1 GB.

On 22nd March 2016, I had to use my data and in the process I used 1.2 GB of data. Note - I did not get any message or notification when the 1GB limit had reached nor got any notification that I will be charged for the additional usage. After sometime I checked manually the data usage amount using *111# and then saw that I had used 1.2 GB. I then realized that probably now I will get reduced speed so I stopped using the data.

When the bill arrived on 10th April I saw that I had been charged Rs. 750 for the additional usage. I had already raised a complaint (on 16th April) regarding it and had got a call from one of the supervisors on 17th or 18th April from[protected] and was assured that he had raised a request for my refund via an email and the request will take sometime to resolve due to system issues. He had said he will call me back by 02 May and confirm the refund.

But I did not get any call from him. When I got my latest bill on May 10 realized that my refund has not been processed. Now this is not acceptable from Vodafone.

When I activated the service I was first of all not informed about the limit or additional charges after 1 GB. After I crossed 1 GB then also no notification to notify me. If the service name shows 3G Unlimited then it does not mean it has a limitation of 1GB or 750 rupees whatsoever.

Very very dissapointed by Vodafone service and the lies told by supervisors.

I dont support cheating money in any way.. Its not first time I have seen Vodafone cheating. Enough loot of money.

It is Vodafone's responsibility that you need to inform the customer about the capping plan and the charges after 1GB. If Vodafone mentioned just 3G Unlimited and charge after 1GB it is not unlimited plan but a cheating plan.

I had called customer care and emailed to the corporate care number and following up since 15 days. But no one is responding. Looks they do it intentionally.
