[Resolved] Vodafone India — charging wrong international roaming | |
Recently on my visit to meghalaya to tourism site of living roots bridge and dawki river for a day i have been charged international roaming without my knowledge. On enquiry i have been told that my calls were routed thru bangladesh. Is it not robbery. Firstly i am in india, well within our border and visiting tourism sites. Secondly is it not breach of my information security. Thirdly, i was never informed that my calls and data are on international roaming while your mobile screams as soon as you cross your state/ circle informing you that you are in different state. Lastly no one to listen to your pleas. It is just that you pay. Kindly anyone let me know the steps i should take to regularise excess incorrect international charges. And more importantly as to who has given permission to vodafone to route my calls and data thru bangladesh while i am in my own country india.
