Vodafone India — extreme delay in processing my insurance claim | |
Hi, I had my iphone damaged, hence claimed for an insurance from vodafone red shield. Though my claim was accepted, the processing has virtually taken a toll on me, as it has been almost 1.5 month till date. May 23rd was when my iphone was damaged and the same day I claimed insurance, and till date I haven't received the amount due to the extreme delay in processing, though all the relevant documents have been shared ages ago. An extreme case of lethargic service... There are 2 customer care numbers provided in the website[protected] /[protected], which are super busy on any time of the day, lest they are not interested in picking our calls neither call back. It's sort of a 1 way communication, wherein you literally have to hold back your anger, anxiety and wait for these people to call you. After having to deal with them for almost 1.5 months now, I veritably am clueless as to how I escalate this situation. As per requisite I have shared the following documents- Claim Declaration form, Autofilled claim form, Aadhar copy, PAN copy, Voters ID copy, pics of the damaged iphone, pics of Box, Repair estimation cost invoice, Cancelled cheque, Purchase invoice bill, Repair invoice bill. It would be great if atleast the concerned call up to discuss the exact delay in the process, or pick up the call when we try connecting to them- but in this case neither happens. It's high time I need to escalate this issue, so as to avoid any other unsuspecting customer being taken for a ride... Was this information helpful? | |
