[Resolved] Vodafone India — high bill amount for international roaming | |||
I had activated international roaming pack rs.149 for the country uk on july 27th. Next day, i traveled to uk and got a lyca mobile sim card. Thereafter, i didn't use my vodafone number for any incoming/ outgoing or internet purpose. As, i had lyca sim, there was no need o[censored]sing my vodafone anymore. I received my bill last month and was really shocked to see my bill amount. It was around rs.3900 for the thing which i didn't use. Below are approaches i tried to get my bill amount clarified but of no use: 1. Some 20 days back, i had a chat with vodofone representative from my mobile app and reported this issue. I didnt get any proper response and he told that i have activated i-roam which is rs.2999. Then i told to confirm him that i shouldn't get any amount for roaming, so asked him to deactivate all my plans related to it, including 149 pack. But i have got my bill now and they have put rs.149 for two continuous months. 2. I called to customer care number +91-[protected] today and reported this issue. They again told me that i had activated i-roam for rs.2999. I asked them to give me any proof to show that i had accepted or said yes to activate this. All the queries we speak to customer care are getting recorded and you people are not able to show any proof that we have accepted for the option. They told me to wait and kept on hold for more than 20 mins literally. 3. I again called customer care today and asked for the same proof, but of no use. He told that i had attend the incoming call from india two times and one call cost is 100+. So it could be 300+ for two calls. Even this amount is fine to accept atleast. But there was no answer provided for iroam charges. I am just writing this e-mail after all such irritations i had to clarify my bill. Was this information helpful? | |||
