[Resolved] Vodafone India — Incompetent Service and further harassment by Vodafone | |||
I am reporting this issue with immense amount of disappointment and dissatisfaction towards the service offered to me as a corporate customer who has been loyally using and paying vodafone month on month over the past years. Below is the complaint for my number [protected] Over one of my international trips between 26th and 27th November I received an sms from Vodafone saying that my service has been barred due to excess usage during the night. When i returned to Mumbai on 28th morning and enquired about my bill, i was told that i am supposed to pay an unbelievable price of 27, 000 Rs. to get my service activated. To top it all i kept hearing from the representative in a warning tone that i "will have to pay for the service i have used" Below are my concerns which I have reported to Vodafone over 6 emails and repeated phone calls but have failed to receive any response whatsoever 1. My India sim was not in use owing to the free 3G access to me all throughout the stay by the hotel. I am not stupid to go ahead and use internet worth 27, 000 inspite of that. 2. When my service has been barred for 3 days, how is it possible that the billed amount has gone up to 33000 Rs. Within so much time. 3. When my credit limit was 19000 Rs, how could my usage go to 27, 000 that time. 4. My corporate service has been barred for the last 3 months and I have been crippled when it comes to accessing and replying to my important business emails and other means of contact. Is this the service offered to a corporate customer? 5. I was told that my service will remain barred until dec 25th if i don't pay 80% of the bill value i.e. approx 28000 Rs. For what?? Explanations on my billing details will be given to me only after 25th Dec, which I have not received till date. This is a crazy process and I will not abide. I have come across an unethical billing process a few months back also by vodafone when i was charged a whooping amount for nothing and was asked to pay. When i refused to pay and asked for the details it was seen that the charges were actually an error. I refuse to chase you guys and spend my valuable time. I, as a Vodafone customer have had a good record and never faltered on by bill payments over the last 4 years and this kind of treatment is totally displeasing. The height of pathetic service is that I continued to receive standard replies to all 6 of my emails to Vodafone Moreover in spite of my services being suspended and no usage being done for more than 3 months, my latest bill is now increasingly amounting to 41, 000 Rs. The latest to this is that Vodafone sends across bouncer like guys to my earlier registered address and threatens the receiving Senior Citizens who are a part of my family to pay the bills. I am still only facing unnecessary chasing and harassment by the Vodafone officials who lack all kind of mannerisms and etiquette.
Forceful behavior with my relatives and friends to get money out of me is not a solution which i sincerely hope Vodafone understands.
Not once have i received any clear explanation and answers to my 7 emails to vodafone. Several calls seeking explanation were also made to customer service from my number in the past (which are definitely present in records with vodafone) but none was returned trying to resolve the issue. What happened to all of those???
Today Vodafone is conveniently pressurising me forgetting that i was following up at some point of time when my requests were being ignored.
If this misbehavior continues, i will move to sought legal attention to take care of this matter for all the harassment I have faced through the months.
