Vodafone India — My tariff plan changed without my consent | |||

[protected] Rs.199 plan [protected] Rs.175 plan [protected] - Rs. 175 plan Within a month of taking the connection, for the second and third connection one fine day a lady called up and informed that my plan is getting changed to Rs.375 & there is nothing I can do about it. when I called up the customer care (198 and then with retention team), after talking for 30 minutes they told me that my plan will not be changed, the call is from the marketing division. On the very subsequent day my plan was changed and when I called up again they told me it was changed due to the older plan is not supported any more. After following up with various people: corpcare.[protected]@vodafone.com, 'sivakumar.[protected]@vodafone.com'; 'baskar.[protected]@vodafone.com', I was told my plan will be reversed to Rs.175. Its been a month now, nothing has happened. It has to be noted that not even SMS message was sent to me for the plan change activation. I spoke with Ms. Sandhya, Ms.Suganya few other people. The interesting part is every time I call up 198 and subsequently the retention team they play innocence & I had to explain the details for 20 minutes. For the numbers:[protected] & [protected] my tariff is changed to Rs.375/month without my consent. Earlier I was promised that my plan would be reversed to Rs.175 which has not taken place. It is an irony that this country is being eaten away by unethical business practices. Searching through the internet I see that I’m not alone and Vodafone as a company follows this as a business strategy. Was this information helpful? | |||
