[Resolved] Vodafone India — no service taking money off my account and refuses to give cash refund, i found friend to transfer funds | |||
Wow where to start. After two weeks of bad service i had none except advertisement from vodafone. I went to sri lanka, my friend put $on my phone only to be used up by vodafone alerts of roaming charges over and over i wasn't even using the service. I get back to reup my phone telling me i have a bill. Then my service doesn't work at all. I go back for refund they say they transfer to another sim card? Why would i want to buy another sim card for service that doesn't work. For 2mns i've been fighting this. Now i have a friend i wish to give my credit to. Because of 90day rule they are telling me that my credit is gone. I have lost $1000total. Was this information helpful? | |||

I attempted to activate the service from outside India due to an emergency via Vodafone App, it ACTIVATED the service but i could never get any signals from their partner network provider in Thailand. After struggling fir almost 3 hours, I finally purchased a local SIM card in Bangkok.
Then, I urged my wife to ensure that Vodafone won't charge me for this Stupid iRoamFree, who got a response from Customer Care that iRoamFree will be charged only if the partner network is used in addition to a monthly IR {Int. Roaming} fee of 149 Rs. As a matter of fact, the partner network never was connected on my phone during my entire stay in Thailand.
Abd now after returning to India Vodafone is very much happy to rip me off with the charges for iRoamFree service which they COULD never provide me when I needed it the most.
Ugliness is an undermined quality of Vodafone very few experience, I must admit.
