Based on a text message received on my phone to make a payment (otherwise the number would become inoperative) I made the payment of Rs.150. However, my phone became inoperative the next day, and when I followed up it was indicated that the number is not assigned to me anymore!
I have been corresponding with Customer Service for the last couple of weeks and always get the following response to my emails:
I attempted to call on alternate number [protected]. However due to non-contactability we are unable to establish contact.
Based on your E-Mail, I am summarizing your query regarding the international Roaming rental charge of Rs.99.
There is no deduction of Rs.99/- done your Vodafone Mobile number [protected]. Please share correct Vodafone Mobile Number if you have balance deduction concerns of other Vodafone Mobile Number.
My Vodafone number was:[protected].
Please note I am a non-resident and hence, unable to call the toll free number for assistance.
Would appreciate if you could arrange to have the amount refunded to me please.
