[Resolved] Vodafone India — unauthorised activation of miniplex pack | |||
On 16/07/2018 I received sms from Vodafone saying that miniplex pack had been activated and a sum of Rs 75 deducted from balance of my mobile no [protected]. Immediately after I saw the sms on 17.07.2018 I submitted deactivation request as it was done arbitrarily without my consent. After 30 minutes I received confirmation sms that reactivationhad been done but refund of the amount has not yet been received. I lodged a mail complaint on 17/07/18 to their customer care for refund of the amount but no response excepting automated acknowledgement has yet been received. Suitable punitive action and control mechanism must be initiated to curb such unfair profit making practices resorted to by some tele companies. Was this information helpful? | |||
Jul 22, 2018 Complaint marked as Resolved They refunded the amount to my account under advice to me through e-mail. As such the complaint stands resolved now. However, regulatory authority should address the issue of activation of packs without customer's request adopted by some telecom companies. Vodafone India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint. | |||
