Vodafone India — wrong bill - international roaming charges not reversed. | |||
Mobile Number: [protected] My trouble started when I activated a one month International Roaming Pack. Once I reached the foreign country (UK), I found out the International Roaming was not working and my mobile did not connect to any network. I informed the issue to Vodafone technical team back in India and they send a set of guidelines to follow in order to activate the International Roaming. Non of those procedures worked after three days of back and forth mails and work arounds. Since nothing was working I asked Vodafone to cancel my International Roaming plan immediately and they cancelled the same. After two weeks when I reached India, a hefty bill of Rs.5900 was awaiting me and my outgoing calls and messages were barred. I wrote a mail to the customer care and they found my issue to be genuine and since I have not used International Roaming facility, they agreed to retract the wrong bill in writing. Now even after two months neither I have received the correct bill nor my outgoing facility reinstated. Should I not receive the correct bill, I left with no other option than to go to consumer court . Was this information helpful? | |||
