Vodafone — inflated bills / overcharging

Dear sir/madam, i am writing this email on behalf of my wife (Vodafone account no.[protected], who needs your help to reverse the unwanted charges being levied by vodafone in the month of june & july. She moved to china in june but still wanted to keep the india no# active, as the same is mapped to a lot of indian apps/websites for local transactions. The day she left india, mobile data on the india no# was proactively turned off via phone settings and she was conscious enough not to pick-up any incoming call on the india no#. However, vodafone applied hefty unwanted charges in the june & july bill, mostly for internet usage and some for incoming calls. Incoming calls # 2 - were received from a no# ([protected]) which doesn't even seem to an india no#. Going by the mobile phone call history, there was an incoming call but it wasn't picked-up. Internet usage (Multiple times) - one can make a mistake to use mobile internet on the india no# once or twice but definitely not for a week. Besides, if you refer the june & july bill, one will fail to understand where does international roaming charge of rs. 10, 921.07 come from, as it was charged in the month of july (11 june to 10 july) but for the period 1 to 6 june for which there was already an international roaming charge of rs. 2, 647.49 in the june (11 may to 10 june) bill. How is it possible to charge the customer twice for the same usage/period and that too with two different amounts. We have spoken to them multiple times but each time they behave dumb by giving a generic response that these charges are genuine without any proper justification/evidence to support their statement. This is a clear case of company taking undue advantage of the situation (User being abroad) and applying unwanted charges assuming the user will not come to know. She has already paid rs. 7000 so far and was also going to pay the remaining until i found it and told her not to fall prey to such cheap gimmicks. We are ok to pay the monthly bill & taxes thereon but the undue phone call & internet charges should be reversed and remaining money should be refunded immediately. Need your support to resolve this case and help to get our money back.
