Vodafone — No bills, no network, no clarification but notice of legal action when the number is already disconnected
In Feb 2015, I got two Vodafone numbers, both of which were used for Internet usage on my I pad and I phone respectively. Since, these numbers were used for company use, I had to get it reimbursed by reproducing the bills, which I did not receive for two months. The reason to which was communicated to me that the mail Id on which the bill needs to be sent in their system was ending in .coms and not .com and will have to be changed after going to the service centre. This service centre also did not do anything about the matter post which I intimated that this is the last month I will be paying the bill, if you do not provide me the bills or the network. Vodafone said that network in your area cannot be established because of some operational issues with the tower for atleast 2 months. I had to discontinue the number and so was it in August with a mail confirming that there is no outstanding amount. In November, I get a mail the even after repeated calls and follow-ups I have not paid a bill which I should not have given because of no bills, no network, deactivated sim and confirmation that there is no outstanding amount. What do I do? Should I pay ? I have written the following mail however: To my clarification can you please provide me which of your mails should I consider as valid and which one as null and void? This is in wake of a mail which I had received from 'Pankaj Pandey Nodal Office Vodafone' who have mentioned in the mail below that "In view of the above adjustment there is no amount due on your dongle numbers.", way back in August 2015. I have sent Harish a copy of the mail as well. Your Outstanding Intimation to me is conflicting with this mail from Nodal Vodafone office with service request number[protected] and[protected]. Moreover, the communication of a customer query which, I, the customer, raised on May 12th with the subject matter "No Bill / No Network for Mobile Numbers" have been ignored by the Chembur Brand Vodafone Centre which Harish had mentioned in the mail with aforementioned subject. I am willing to settle the outstanding amount without Prejudice on the same date of the mail from you as per the aforementioned subject, if provided adequate clarifications and justification for the mis-match in communication. In case you fail to provide your response in lieu of this mail within one week, I would have to take necessary lawful actions against any subsequent communication which comes from any of the recipients of this mail on the grounds of the mental space and harassment which Vodafone as a company has caused to me since May 2015, not only by not providing the services which the company was supposed to provide to a customer but being inconsistent & unprofessional in addressing customer queries and complaints. Please advice! Was this information helpful?
