[Resolved]  Vodafone Postpaid — Unauthorized Subscription to "BISCOOT" and "KINCKKNACK" Services on [protected]

Last month I got a message that a "biscoot.com" service has been been activated on my mobile and weekly Rs. 35 will be deducted. I immediately called customer care and deactivated this service. Your customer care representative told me that you might have clicked a link on your phone and hence this payment of Rs. 35 can not be waived off. I don’t remember clicking any such link on my mobile. Can you please explain if clicking a link activates a service without my prior permission then why is Vodafone supporting such phishing websites. I want to inform you that I received my bill for the period[protected] to[protected] and saw that Rs. 70 for charged for the "BISCOOT SERVICES". I understand that I am not the only one facing this problem and many Vodafone customers have been charged with this service without their prior permission. This is really disappointing from a reputed firm like Vodafone. And to add more I again got a message from Vodafone care that "knickknack.in" service has been activated and Rs. 35 will be charged weekly. I'm fed up receiving such messages from vodafone and wrongly charging for them without having downloaded anything. When I wrote to the customer care all they have to say is you have downloaded this service and hence this amount can not be waived off. I'm highly diappointed and angered with the response. I just want my hard-earned money back.

This is the message that i got, same as you all.
Hello! Biscoot Store pack is now active on your number, as requested.This service is valid till[protected] and a 7 days rental of Rs.21 has been deducted.Your current Balance post service activation is Rs.1.03.To deactivate SMS STOP to or call 155223(toll free).

I just want to say to Vodafone people that we are not illiterate, who will not ask the question on our deduction like many other indians do and you all keep on making money like this. This is because TRAI made dnd regulation and now you are doing saying pop up, good found new loop hole.
Same happend with me . KnickNack service got activated automatically on my vodafone postpaid number and 70 rs added in my bill for two week. I want my money back.
Same happened with me. KnickNack & Hello1 TV service got activated automatically on my Vodafone post paid number before 2-3 days and. I got message in Span folder before 2-3 days for KnickNack service. So, I would not care @ that message. But when I received 2nd one message for Hello1 TV Value added service message, I talked with customer care. But he also told me, while using internet this 2 services got activated. I don't know how they are permitting without confirmation of me. I don't know whether Vodafone have charged me for these 2-3 days or not. But I have deactivated both services.

Vodafone has to look after on this matter.
Same biscoot store pack service is activated on my phone without my concent... its pathetic that so many people are facing similar issues and still Vodafone have their stereo type answers... Vodafone should contact me for this..
I too got the same problem.
After when I recharge then I got one message telling that the Biscoot Store Service has been activated and deducted 45 from my account.
Even em facing the same issue.
Some Biscoot store, fashion bunny and Mneeds was activated without my consent.
Customer Care guys insisted that it's a 3rd party website and cannot waive off the amount.
Such fishing activities supported by Vodafone is intolerable.
I wish to lodge a complaint or file a case against these guys.
How do I proceed ?
I also receive this biscoot store msgs again and again every 15 days every time my money gets deducted without my consent ..can't trust Vodafone services anymore would change the subscriber soon and will suggest others also to do the same
Same biscoot and social book plan was activated on my number yesterday without any information of what they actually stand for. What good does the service do? Vodafone is surly trying to mint money by thinking that we are fools and wont react to it all. Vodafone customer care better have an answer to all these questions which have been put up here.

Same happened with me on my corporate connection. I will request my company to switch to another provider. Fraud Vodafone!

Fashionbunny service has been activated automatically in my number and Rs. 35 has been deducted and what is fashionbunny I dont know. Please suggest the procedure which needs to do so that the deducted balance will be refunded in my number.

I was called customer care. and inform to them to deactivate this service. but still this service is not deactivated.

- and also they replayed, this amount will refund with in 2 hours. but still this amount also is not refunded and service also not deactivated.

They are doing Fraud...
