[Resolved] Vodafone — Repeated Incorrect Billing and improper response | |||
I changed my mobile plan to Advantage 1299 in April 2014. When we received the Bill in the month of May then they had charged Rs.1299 and also charged us for data usage at their usual rate. We immediately stopped using the data and complained to Vodafone. They came back to us after 3-4 days and reversed the charges. I asked them to send me complete details of the data package that we have and they have sent us the details. When the new Bill comes in the month of June (current) then the mistake has been repeated and I feel that this is deliberate as their system is definitely not manual and therefore error cannot be repeated if corrected once. They have charges us Rs.1299 and also separately for Data usage. When pointed out they have not reversed it and instead sent me a mail that they will revert in 7 working days. IN the mean time the last date of payment is close. I have following complaints against Vodafone: 1. Every time I send a mail to them they tell us that they will revert in 2 working days. Why should they not attend to it immediately? 2. When you try calling them then one never gets a satisfactory reply and there is no record of the discussion. So no point in calling them. 3. How can they do wrong billing in the first place with all the automated and computerised system in place? 4. How can the mistake be repeated if it has been brought to their notice, acknowledged and corrected by them? 5. Why should they take 7 days to revert for a repeat mistake? 6. We did not use the data package for 3- 4 days. Vodafone has refused to compensate us for that. Why should they not be penalised for this? 7. We had to undergo lot of mental agony and are still undergoing mental agony due to wrong billing. Vodafone should compensate us for the same. 8. Quality of Vodafone network is very poor. I have complained on their website. No response on that. We are hardly able to use pur mobile phone while in office. 9. Overall, Vodafone has shown complete apathy to me as a customer.
