Vodafone — validity of recharge being calculated wrongly | |||
Hi, My name is satish Kumar Chikkala. I am currently a vodafone prepaid customer in Chennai circle. I have recharged my number with a bonus card of Rs17 which gives 100MB 2G data with 3 days validity. I have recharged exactly at 11:49 PM on 20th July, 2014. The validity should count till 11:49 PM 23rd July, 2014. But, this was counted till 00:00 hrs on 23rd July 2014. Is this acceptable or did the service provider mention it on the website? Nothing is mentioned as such. Moreover, when i spoke to the customer care guy, that bugger is speaking so rash and asking me to file a complaint if i can. This is the condition for a customer in India. If it is US, the scenario would have been completely different. These bloody service providers are cheating customers like anything and the government had not devised any regulation against them. It's a pity for the indian consumers and i wonder if this would really change. I never posted in the consumer forum before and i wanted to see if this really works.
