Volkswagen India — Damaged wind shield after normal service | |||
Gave my Volkswagen Polo vehicle with registration ID - RJ14CL0139 for normal paid service at PPS motors in Gachibowli, Hyderabad on 3-Apr-2015, further instructed to collect the vehicle on 6-Apr-2015. When I inspected the services vehicle, it had a 200cms long crack on the front wind shield which was not there when the vehicle was given for service (evident from the job card filled by Narsimha, the inspector). Further I was made to meet the GM of the centre who forced the reasoning of heat playing a part to getting the crack and forced me to cover the cost for a replacement through the car insurance and promised that the remaining amount would be borne by the service centre. The reason for the crack to occur is completely different to what the GM claims and has no reason to cover the same through the customers insurance. Please help resolve this issue at the earliest or would force me to approach the consumer forum with a solid complaint. Was this information helpful? | |||
