[Resolved] Volkswagen India — Misinformation | |||
Car no dl3cbw2281, serviced at automark motors pvt ltd, delhi on 7.8.2015 (Advisor-mohan). Promised to return the same day but informed in the evening that there are defects in the car, to be rectified free of cost as the car is under warranty. Next day car was delivered and its battery was also changed without my prior consent. The issued invoice shows the cost of battery as rs 4545.12. At this stage an additional warranty was also sold to me creating an impression that the same was emanating from the company. Car was again serviced in august 2016 on payment basis. However on 15.10.2016, the battery stopped functioning and now the automarks informed that the battery have to replaced at cost as the same is not covered under additional warranty. An amount of rs 5716 had to be paid. All this does not leave me in any comfort. Be that as it may, i will have to go for any other car like toyota/maruti. Was this information helpful? | |||
