I purchased a Voltas 1.5 Ton Split A/C on 15/04/2015 from Flipkart. My A/C was working fine in the previous Summer season. I started using my A/C again just a few days back due to hot weather and my A/C was not cooling like it used to so I contacted the Voltas Customer Care for scheduling a customer support executive visit to my house. They told me that my A/C is leaking Gas and there might be a possibility to replace the condenser of the A/C which is costing me around ₹7000. My warranty expired on 15/04/2016. My point is, how a product from such a reputed company who have a image in the market for their durable products have such low life product which got damaged in a span of one year only. Is there not any quality control checks ?
