[Resolved] Voltas — wrong info given at the time of purchase | |||
I was in need to buy a window ac of any good brand, then i see the voltas ad that they are providing 5 years warranty on their ac, which i found very attractive and immediately i have bought their ac through amazon.com and got my warranty registered. Even they have sent me a warranty registration mail stating my ac bearing the serial 4011237a18ec02419 will be covered under 5 years warranty period (File attached). Now when after 1.5 years when my ac is requires repairs, they have charged me rs 2360, stating that they will not entertain amazon purchase product. Need to know if they don't entertain amazon purchase product then why at the first place, why they have issued 5 years warranty to us. They should have informed us at the time of registering the warranty, so that i would be able to return this product to amazon. Now i do not trust this brand anymore and wants this ac back to you and my money to be refund. Was this information helpful? | |||
