VRL Travels — Bus broke and the replaced bus also caught fire and VRL staff left us in the forest without option
I am Prasad Pai working for a Private limited company in Bangalore. I am writing this message to explain you the experience I had with my recent travel with VRL. Till 13 Feb i was having a very Good feelings and Trust about VRL, but in 1 day VRL lost its reputation and made me suffer the entire journey, Spoiled my total plan of visit to my hometown, and my wife had to go under a trauma.. its been a night mare to me and my wife who were traveling in VRL Isuzu bus (TR No 3922809) which first broke down after Nelamangala near Brindhavan hotel and we had to waiting for 2 long hours for a another bus provided by VRL.. by 1:30 am we got a other bus which had some problem with its Tyre and caught flames and broke down again at around 10 am in jungle of Gersoppa 40 kms to reach Honnavar. There the replaced bus caught flames and there was a burning smell from the tyres. We had to again wait in mid of the jungle for 2 hrs more because ur drivers were giving me wrong hopes of getting the problem fixed.. all my schedule and plans of my visit to ankola got cancelled. But how ever all the passengers in the bus waited again but didn't get a proper solution from your staff nor the drivers. We had to then stop a ksrtc bus which was already full, We had to make some space for ourselves to stand and travel the whole journey till Honnavar by standing because VRL had left us without any choice. By the time I reached Honnavar it was 12 or so.. I had to go to Ankola since it was my destination. I was left with no other option of hiring a taxi cab which costed me 1300 rupees from Honnavar bus stand to Ankola. So I have clearly shared my experience which was a nightmare to me and my wife with VRL. Now I want a refund for all the additional expenses I had to bare and the Bus ticket refund as well because we deserve it. I just didn't feel it right to directly go and post it on all the social networking sites before consulting you and Your team. if I don't receive the refund I would be going to the consumer court as well as will be posting my experience in all the websites which am afraid will spoil the reputation of VRL.
