I got a backlight problem (only sound, no picture on[protected] for my VU tv some 7-8 months back. I called a customer care, they gave me one number ([protected] - Name may be Asif) . I called this guy, he gave me one more number ([protected]-Chandra shekar). I called Chandra shekar.
He first told that TV has just back light problem and Vu company will take nearly 6-7k to repair this, i will get this done for less amount and gave me job sheet of 'Metroflix solutions' (attached[protected]. He denied repairing at my home and took it to the shop. Then he called me and told that it has motherboard problem, This that n all. I fought with him, but finally he came home and charged 400 visiting charge and 3500 for repair. It lasted only for 6-7 months
And now (27th oct -2021) again TV has same problem. This time he sent another guy (sachin - [protected]) gave me job sheet of SJS electronics (attached[protected].
This time Chandra shekar said that since it is just 6months, as per the company rule they will repair it for free. He took TV and called me and said they are not agreeing for free and i have to pay 50% of the cost of back light which is 1750 of 3500. Took 20 days to repair, and did not respond to any calls in between and always sent a message saying he will call back but never did and finally asked me to come and collect at his shop. And again same story, he said he replaced the mother board and also back light the cost is 6500, since i have committed 50% to you earlier i have to pay 3500. Again i fought and said i will pay only 1750 which was decided earlier. He said i will get the bill only if i pay 3500 else not. I said i will pay only 1750 and paid.
Now after a week (26th nov -2021), the TV again has a same problem. I called him many times but he is not picking at all.
I believe he has removed original motherboard with duplicate also the back light.
Please do the need full.
