Whirlpool India — Poor Customer Service, CHEAT Company, forcing to buy products by saying parts are not available

I had raised a complaint to [protected]@whirlpool.com, dated 09th Sept 2021 that my refrigerators LED display light is not working properly, due to which I am not able to see in which mode my refrigerator is working. There is not other problem with appliance apart from LED light display.
Ticket number raised DEH[protected].

On 10th Sept I got a call and I explained the service issue, and later I got a mail confirmation that technician will visit on 12th Sept at my place to see the issue
On 12th Sept your service engineer came and inspected the refrigerator. As a very basic thing while handling electrical appliance main supply has to be switched off. He checked initially for cooling and found refrigerator was working fine. As per my complaint raised, he removed LED LCD display from refrigerator and while putting it back, there was a short circuit which created a loud noise and he also felt the electric shock.
Again when we operated the refrigerator there was no beep sound coming from it and when we asked your person he said, the sound buzzer is not working now, and it will be working when we will replace the LED LCD board, which was faulty and which will cost around INR 850-1000/.
We also asked him that if there is nothing wrong with refrigerator due to short circuit, he said you appliance is fine and will work as I was working before.
He asked us to pay the service visit fee of INR 450/ which we paid and told him to get the card on urgent basis and get it replaced.
Same evening we observed that our refrigerator was not cooling and we had an intuition that something else is now wrong with appliance.
I had written mail same evening to helpdesk informing them about same.
Next day I got a call from Tripti communications lady named Uma she informed me that two parts needs to be replaced, one was LED display board and second was the mother board. Estimated cost told was 1250 and 1850 approx. I told her to place the order and get parts arranged.
Also I told her that why shall we be paying for cost of part which got damaged due to negligence of your service engineer.
On which she said I will check with my service engineer, as he did not mentioned them about the incident. She told that I will get back to you soon. But she never reverted back .
On 16th Sept I had sent mail to helpdesk to get an update, than I got call from[protected]/ Mr Parvinder and I explained him about the entire incident. He assured that he will investigate and get back to me. As I told him I am not sure that after replacing both the parts, if still the appliance does not work who will bear the cost, he told that I will speak to my support team and this addressed.
On 16th itself He sent me a mail, mentioning that parts are not available and we are arranging from warehouse.
Later I got a call from Tripti communication in morning to share the invoice of appliance if I had, which I did.
In afternoon I got call from Tripti communications and was informed that parts are not available and as a resolution we will be paying you 7500 for your old refrigerator and you can purchase a new refrigerator from us. And we will give good discount ie dealer price
After this communication I tried calling number shared by Parvinder on a mail,[protected] which was of reception and I was not connected to Parvinder.
Immediately I had sent him mail about all the communication and asked him to get back to me, as number shared by him was not connecting.
Today I shared a model selected by us with Tripti communication, as per our communication to buy a new refrigerator and model which I selected was not available. They gave an option of INV CNV 375 Cool Illusia, which was offered to me for INR 35250/ ( Dealer price 43000- less7750 scrap value of my old refrigerator).
I am getting same model on Amazon for 360 litre @ 35790/.

I sent a mail to helpdesk to get an update on my concerns. Later on after 5 min I got a mail from Parvinder that my numbers are not reachable, as such he was able to speak to him before on same number many of times. He has offered me a bailout policy in which he mentioned that parts are not available and as bail out policy value for my refrigerator is 7750/, plus I need to pay transportation charges and difference for new model selected.

Please tell me one good reason for following:
• Did I make a mistake by calling whirlpool technician, whom I paid the visit charges and in return my refrigerator is gone to scrap?
• This is the service recovery and response
• Instead of paying 1250 for LCD display I am told to buy a new product costing 35250/
• What’s the guarantee that parts will be available in near future, if I purchase the product.
• Is this an ethical way to sell your products, by simply saying pars are not available?

I am not happy with the resolution offered at Helpdesk.
I need to escalate it to higher authorities and see the resolution at the earliest.

Dear Whirlpool,
Greetings!!
You are saying that you looking in the matter and I am getting a message @ Twitter that this is the best what we can offer, we cannot assist you further.
I am not sure who is going to get in touch and get this sorted, as I had sent mail to Helpdesk and they are forcing bailout policy, which is costing me 35000/ instead of actual cost of 1250/. The equipment got damaged coz of your technician and why shall i shell out more money to buy new product.
Secondly I have written mail to [protected]@whirlpool.com, and they are not bothered to look in the matter, its more than 3 working days, the ticket number is not generated. What do you expect from customer? Is this is a way to sell your products and increase sales number. PATHETIC is the level of response and customer relation .

Hey Manpreet, exact same thing happened with me too. We had complained about not freezing rest else was fine. They came and fuelled gas and we paid Rs2800+Rs450. From that day whole fridge is not working. When we tried to contact they asked us to send the fridge to their centre at our own expense which will be around 2k-4k. I’m pretty sure they will again ask to pay for some parts etc as they just aim to mint money and they don’t bother about their service at all. So frustrated and disappointed. They make a mistake and make us guilty for contacting them in the first place

This company is making fool of customers, that we will approach NCH Helpline and what ever response they will give NCH will close the case and ask customer to go to consumer court. Unfortunately in India, their is not good to customer and NCH raises their hands up. So out of 100- 99 people give up. This is system failure of our consumer forum and these MNC s are taking un due advantage. I had send mails to Service head & CEO but none of them had a courtesy to revert back. The same is shared to NCH that their heads are not responding and they are closing cases of their own. NCH is sitting like GANDHIJI's 3 monkeys, following all three in favour of companies.
My refrigerator repair cost was just 1250 and now they want me to spend 23090/ why shall we do that. Its not only me 1000's of citizens who are not fighting and are giving up against corruption. I am filing a case in district consumer court . Yoy also please do that, lets all come together and give them a fight.
