Whirlpool India — Washing machine complaint did not attend under warranty | |||
I have registered a complaint for top load washing machine “stain wash ultra” on 13.01.2020 vide complaint no VI[protected] for “noise during spinning cycle” problem. Purchased the unit on 17.01.2018 and was still under warranty. After one month and many calls to call Center, service technician visited and dismantled and assessed for some part replacement and went away. After that the local service center went silent. And repeated calls to call Center every 3 days received with rhetoric promise of service technician attending the problem next day. When asked for escalation of the problem many times, again received with a recorded statement of receiving 30 minute call back from escalation team. And as on date that 30 minute callback was never received . Due to the ordeal with nowhere to go beyond call Center since the registration of complaint written to helpdesk of whirlpool india, which was replied once with routine promise some body is assigned to resolve the compliant and thereafter went silent even with repeated mails till July 2020. Then I have given up due to prevailing situation due to Covid and stopped using the washer since then. Again I have decided to use this machine called the service guy on 01.03.2021. The technician checked the machine and told me that repair cost for noise would be Rs. 7500/- and collected visiting charges of Rs.450. This unprofessional behavior of whirlpool of not repairing the machine under warranty but also charging exorbitantly for the repairs after expiry of warranty. Was this information helpful? | |||
