You or your team didn’t addressed below concern in my email. Manual said warranty is for prime mover and accepted from your side. What is prime mover?????

Thanks for your reply and thanks for accepting that washing machine is covered with prime mover warranty.

Please explain little more about what part of this machine is prime mover? What we studied, technically prime mover is nothing but primary motor. I would appreciate, if whirlpool technical team can explain new meaning of prime mover. Can you please transfer this to your technical team or your higher management Mr. D’Souza or if you are OK I will forward this chain of email to your higher management.
I would accept whatever you are explaining in email below if you can share same warranty conditions on your website mainly which clarify that motor is not called as prime mover.

Based on our telephonic discussion, we would like to inform you that we have already informed to you that your appliance is under addition warranty of part (Prime Mover) but another part (Wash Motor) need to be replaced in your appliance which is not cover under the addition warranty.

As per the company norms, you need to pay the required charges INR 2100/- for your appliance rectification.

What’s the meaning of warranty? I am not convinced with the resolution you provided. If I have to pay Rs. 2100 then it means company don’t want to own warranty. I am sorry to say but this would be like cheating with customers. Please escalate this to your higher management. I am open to discuss this with your higher management.

I bought semi auto washing machine and refrigerator on 20.10.2013. Both were running perfectly. But washing machine wash motor stopped working last week. And we remembered that washing machine wash motor warranty is for 5 yrs as told by showroom sales person. Same I confirmed from your customer care last week. I need confirmation by email reply so that I can contact nearest service center with email copy to avoid any hassle.

We are having a whirlpool washing machine having 10 years warrant on motor and prime movers, since it was not working properly, we had asked for the service engineer and as per him, it is the gear motor which is broken and requires replacement, also we have been advised that it is not covered under prime movers, so what accordingly is covered under prime movers, would really appreciate if the full list can be provided instead of fooling the customers with fancy names when it comes to warranty.
Also a new gear motor will cost me 7500/- INR and when asked for the warranty of the new motor, we were told it is 3 months, so kindly advise if we should go ahead with buying a whirlpool appliance in future or suggest all our friends and family to black list whirlpool from buying any products as customer service is too good to be accepted.
