[Resolved] Wonderchef Home Appliances — One unit of Turbo Chopper not delivered and no update from Customer Care | |||
I had purchased 2 units of Wonderchef Turbo Chopper (with dough kneader attachment) product via online order no. WDCN347613 from the Wonderchef website on 27.10.2021. Full payment was also done online for both the units. However, only one unit was delivered to me on 29.10.2021. I raised a complaint with Wonderchef Customer Care about the issue on 30.10.2021 using the "Contact Us" option on their website (to send email to [protected]@wonderchef.in) as well as by calling their Customer Care number [protected]. Complaint ticket no. [protected] was assigned to my complaint. All the details required by their Customer Care executive such as invoice copy, photo of delivered product, etc. were also shared by me on the same day & Wonderchef was requested to deliver the 2nd unit as per my order. It has now been 2 weeks since I registered the complaint. However, I have not even received any concrete status update on my complaint from Wonderchef. All their email communication responses have repeatedly given only false / empty assurances of providing status update within 24 / 48 hours. When I call their Customer Care numbers ([protected] / [protected]), they do not seem to be having any background of my issue & I have to explain the problem from scratch during each call. Further, even after explaining the problem repeatedly (on 30.10.2021, 01.11.2021, 09.11.2021 & 12.11.2021), the customer care executives have also given empty assurances of providing status update at the earliest. During the call on 09.11.2021, I escalated the matter to their Customer Care team leader, Mr. Deepak, who promised to personally look into the matter & update me in 1 - 2 days. The actual status update, though has not yet been given (despite another follow-up from me on 12.11.2021). In my humble opinion, I feel that not getting any concrete status update on my complaint even after two weeks (a duration which could qualify as a reasonable time to expect full resolution of the problem), is an extremely serious matter. Hence, I am escalating the matter by lodging complaint against Wonderchef on this consumer complaints forum. Details of my order, delivered product, timeline of the issue & communication with Wonderchef are attached herewith for reference. Since, only one unit of Wonderchef Turbo Chopper (with dough kneader attachment) has been delivered to me against the two units booked & fully paid for in my order, I would request Wonderchef to arrange for delivery of the second unit or provide me full refund of the price of the second unit (Rs. 1199/-) at the earliest.
