Poor service and support

hi, I had purchased furniture (dining table, double Bed and chairs) from Woodpecker in Shivaginagar, Bangalore last year in month of Aug 09. First they sold all cheap chinese furniture to me by projecting that it was of high quality...I hardly used the chairs for 6 months and all of them broke...

i complained to the owner of the shop and he said that someone will be coming to fix that up coz all the furniture comes with 1 yr...

Dismantled wardrobe unattended

I have purchased two wardrobes from Woodpecker,Besant Nagar, Chennai in December 2009. Both the pieces turned out to be inferior and were not worth its value. The hinges gave way in six months time and had to get it repaired by them.

Yesterday, as we were shifting our place of residence, had called their services to dismantle the wardrobes and fitted it in the new premises which is 500 meters away from our existing place. They...

Sofa set structurally unstable in a year

Around July 2009, we purchased a completely cloth-upholstered, re-configurable sofa-seat that has 4 pieces and can seat 6. We were guaranteed of the high quality of the wood used in this piece. 3-4 months after using it, the foam in the back-rest pieces started to disfigure. The foam on the set tapered down so that one can only sit pointed down! I figured it was bad quality foam but at least the structure of the piece was fine. But 2-3 months...

Cracks developed in Dining Table

We have bought a dining table set with 6 chairs in April 09, susbsequntly the chair and table have develped cracks within 6 months. We have complianed to the shop, they have send the service person and trying to put paste and rectify the problem. But how can a furniture has problem within one year.. Always we buy wooden furniture to last for few year without any trouble. But in this case it is having problem within one year, Hence i am requ3esting...
