Xiaomi India — Received a fake product. contacted the customer service and no proper response. | |||||
Hello, My name is Korada RaviSri ThammayyaBabu. I am a final year B.Tech student in IIT KHARAGPUR. I want to report an incident in which I am a victim. I ordered for "RedmiNote3 mobile" from its online official MI store portal (http://www.mi.com/in/) on 17th June 2016 (I also paid 10, 000Rs) and I received a package from them after 4 days on 21st June 2016 but there is no mobile in the package. Instead it contains a fake adapter and a usb cable and it weighs just 52gms (which is on the label of the package). I reported to the company through customer care service on 22nd June 2016. They asked me to upload 360 degree photos of the package and I did so. Ever since I have been calling them and emailing twice a week from last 2 months and they are saying the same statement. "Your case has been escalated and the respective department is investigating it. Please be patient and wait, they will contact you soon". I am not their only victim. Please support me and please spread the facts of MI official store and prevent people from falling in to their trap. You can check by asking the MI customer care service.
