Xiaomi India — Selling a defective and used piece | |||||
I have a complaint about poor delivery/service of xiaomi india. i purchased a mobile on 13-apr-2016 for gifting to my brother on his birthday via order no of [protected]. since i live in a small city, i ordered it to my uncle house at nagpur. they have recd the parcel and sent to me. as i gifted it to my brother and he opened it, he found that it was a used piece and it was already in number lock position. since i am used to buy things from amazon and flipkart, i contacted them via chat option. first they have refused to replace mobile and said you have to complain for defective piece within 24 hrs. i said how can i complaint within 24 hrs as i bought for gifting on birthday. but their first and last line was that i have to complain within 24 hrs. amazon gives us 10 days and flipkart gives us 30 days to return/replace a defective piece. after that i have called and mailed them so many times, but no resolution till date. i don't know its head office, thus i am writing company address as bangalore. plz help me.
