[Resolved] Yatra Online / Yatratrip.in — no response in regards to cancellation/rescheduling charges | |||
I have booked my flight tickets from yatra. My reference id is[protected], i was flying to and fro for maldives But due to the corona outbreak all the airline companies have waived off the rescheduling or cancellation charges. Yatra has mentioned the same on their website but when you try to reschedule or cancel they are asking for regular rescheduling or cancellation fees. After speaking and confirming with airlines i was informed that i can cancel without any fees but i need to do the same thru yatra. Their customer service staff is not at all helpful as they ask you to email your concern, even after i have email multiple times i have not received any respond to my query and nor has any one got back. Due to their negligence i cannot afford to waste my hard earn money, as i received no response i am now not able to cancel the tickets without any fee as the airline policy has changed but they are still willing to reschedule the tickets, but again i am in the same situation as there is no response from yatra. It is such a disgrace that during times of difficulty yatra has stopped communication and is not willing to help. Can someone help? Was this information helpful? | |||

Verified Support Apr 12, 2020 Yatra Online / YatraTrip.in Customer Care's response Dear Customer, Greetings from Yatra.com! We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you. Kindly refer to the below-mentioned airline circular. Any changes/cancellations will be done as per the policy only. 1. Go Air If your travel is between 19th March 2020 till 30th April 2020 Please note that you do not have to call GoAir or Yatra.com to cancel your booking. GoAir will automatically cancel your booking & will protect the entire amount for a future booking by crediting the entire amount as a credit shell under your current PNR. GoAir is automatically protecting your ticket and fare up to 30th April 2021 which you can use in your future booking. You can reschedule the travel for the same passenger in any Goair flight (not necessarily the original sector booked by you), without paying any rescheduling fee. However, fare difference if any will be applicable. In order to create a new booking & utilizing the credit shell, please visit GoAir at https://www.goair.in/ 2. Indigo If your travel is between 25th March 2020 till 14th April 2020 Please note that you do not have to call Indigo or Yatra.com to cancel your flight. Indigo will automatically cancel your booking. Entire amount will be secured for future booking under a credit shell against your PNR. The credit shell will be valid for 1 year from the date of creation. You can either write to Yatra or Indigo Reservations to book your future travel using the credit shell. The Fare difference will be applied, if applicable. If your travel date is between 15th April 2020 till 30th April 2020 and you want to cancel For all new and existing bookings for travel between 15th April 2020 – 30th April 2020. You can cancel your booking online through Yatra with applicable charges. The airline cancellation fee will be converted to credit shell & the remaining applicable refund amount will be credited to the same mode of payment within 30 working days.
