I own YES Bank Credit Card 53XXXXXXXXXXXX30.
In my credit card statement for the month of Feb-2020, Rs 10, 557.52 was due with payment due date of 07-Mar-2020.
I have paid the bill on 06-Mar-2020 through SBI internet banking NEFT UTR NO SBIN[protected] amounting to Rs 10560.0.
However the same amount of Rs.10560.0 returned back on 06-Mar-2020 itself with NEFTRR-SBIN[protected].
Then again I paid the bill on 08-Mar-2020 through SBI internet banking NEFT with UTR NO SBIN[protected] amounting to Rs 10600.0 (copy of SBI statement enclosed).
However the same amount of Rs.10600.0 again returned back on 18-Mar-2020 with NEFTRRSBIN[protected]-20) RETURNED.
Than finally I paid the bill amount of Rs 10600.0 on 20-Mar-2020 through SBI net banking SBIN[protected] which was successful.
The above mentioned two transactions of 06-Mar-2020 & 08-Mar-2020 were returned back as inward IMPS/ NEFT/ RTGS services of YES Bank were disabled by RBI till 18-Mar-2020. YES Bank has also communicated the same via sms on 18-Mar-2020 (copy of sms enclosed).
To my surprise YES Bank has charged me late payment fees, financial charges and applicable GST on it amounting to Rs. 1337.07 in Mar-2020 which is not at all appropriate as the inward IMPS/ NEFT/ RTGS services of YES Bank were disabled by RBI.
I have brought this into notice of YES Bank and they have reversed the late payment fee amounting to Rs 955.53 in Apr-2020 statement out of Rs. 1337.07.
However they have not refunded the financial charges & applicable GST amounting to Rs 381.54 in Apr-2020 credit card statement.
On above to these mentioned charges, YES bank has additionally charged financial charges & applicable GST amounting to Rs 209.38 in Apr-2020 credit card statement (copy of credit card statement enclosed).
Thus total of Rs. 590.92 were charged towards financial charges & with applicable GST in Apr-2020 credit card statement.
As it is evident from above that the inward IMPS/ NEFT/ RTGS services of YES Bank were disabled by RBI and there was no fault or delay from my side in late paying the bill. Thus the late fee & financial charges does not become applicable to me as the inward IMPS/ NEFT/ RTGS services of YES Bank were disabled/ restricted by RBI.
I have brought this into notice of YES Bank vide service request no [protected], [protected] & [protected] respectively. Also there is no communication from YES Bank towards the service request mentioned above. I have given several reminders via e-mail to YES bank also but they are not responding to it.
Thus it is requested to kindly take action against YES bank for harassment & wrong deduction in credit card statement and to reverse Rs. 590.92 with applicable interest at the earliest.
