Yu Mobile — Poor customer support | |||||
I have bought a YU-Yureka device through online purchase at Amazon.com The device was operating fine till its Operating Software was not updated to Android Lollypop 5.0 version. After updating to the latest OS, the device started troubling me very frequently Then I launched a complaint through email to Yureka customer support. They first asked me to troubleshoot the problem at my end, then to re-flash the device OS, that too by myself. I have done as advised by them but the problem remained unresolved. Then they said to replace problematic trans-receiver (the Yu-Yureka Device) with new one. I received another trans-receiver, though it was not new but repaired one but I accepted it and returned the problematic one to them. Before It, I could know the device working status I got to face a new problem which was related to battery. The battery of recently received device was not getting charged. If I insert the same battery to another device, it gets charged well. So there is a problem with another trans-receiver also. If, I count, I would have wasted more than 2 months just in struggling with the frequent problems of the device, writing email to Yu-yureka, calling their customer support. Seems I don’t have any other job left. I am launching the complaint here because I don’t find another way for once & forever.
