[Resolved] Yu Televentures — Screen damage (Internal spots developing on screen) | |||||
Hello, I have purchased yu yuphoria in july 2015. It is working fine till 8-10 months then onwards with spots like things started developing on top edge of the screen and slowly and gradually it started developing on right edge, left edge and bottom. Now there are uniform spots on all the edges and they are increasing in area. For this issue, i have complaint on toll free number for the first time in may 2016 when the spots were only on top edge and at that time i was told that our team is working on it and will let you know when solution is out. I also whent to service center and they told that company has not provided any solution. For second time i reported again for the same issue in july 2016 before my warranty was about to expire and i got same answer as above. At this time spots were in top, right, left edges. Now i reported the issue on monday (29 august 2016] and was told that go to nearest customer care center where they will help you. I went there yesterday and they told me that screen is to be replaced and it will cost rs. 2250. And as now my warranty is expired it cannot be covered in it. So if this is the only solution which could have been done in may-june 2016 itself why keep delaying till my warranty expired. Here the problem is not at all my fault. It is due to your technical problem. And for that why should i pay. First of all they delayed for the solution and now they ask me to replace the screen by paying for it.
