Zerodha — compensation denied

Hi team,

My client id. Is ye2779, yesterday i purchased 500 shares of indigo on short and had a stop loss in place however once the share price hit the stop loss buy order wasn't executed and i wasn't able to manually exit the order as well from the order book. Due to this i lost close to rs.23000.

I have spoken to one of your representatives who informed me that yesterday there was a technical issue and orders were not getting executed or closed.

I'm looking to get my refund as i am not to be blamed for such instances.

We would like to clarify that zerodha doesn't seek profits if our clients gain because of such technical issues nor will we be able to compensate for losses in such events. We regret the inconvenience caused because of this. We would like to reassure you that we have our technicians looking into the issue to ensure that this doesn't happen again.
