I am a new DP of Zomato my ID is pending for verification from last 24 Hour where estimated time is 3 to 6 hours.

I ordered from a delivery service called Zomato and a few items from my order were missing and incorrect. Since its a frequent occurrence (regardless of the delivery app used: Swiggy or Zomato) and I had always received my refunds promptly in the past(through both, however I had just recently started using Zomato), I quickly took the pics and asked for chat support.

Firstly they denied the support through chat and asked to send the pics and order ID through email. I did just that. I later got an email saying there is nothing they can do and no refund is possible.This is just ridiculous. The whole concept of a delivery service is to provide timely and correct delivery.

I sent another mail requesting for help and they just keep sending me automated emails and just no support is provided!

I called the restaurant and they never got back to me, its PizzaHut! They are supposed to be accountable!

I feel robbed, I had one weekend which i was looking forward to all week and this happened. No support, just feel punished for using their service. How is this fair and allowed? What can I do to get my refund?

Dear sir i want to complaint againts zomoto private limited online food delivery partner .
my concern is that today date 1.9.2022 i ordered online food through zomoto app from jodhpur rajasthan i paid through paytm upi app my total order value was 402 /- but after paying it no one called me and without informing they canceled my order . i order for my guest but order not delivery i feel very ashamed and very frustrating but company didnt responding me properly . i want to file complaint against zomoto company to give my refund back and . give my amount of my harassment .

Hlw today I was supposed to order 2 plate chole bhature but mistakely I pressed 1 and ordered and cancelled my item within 10 sec and Zomato refused for refund this not at all acceptable plz initiate my refund as soon as possible.I talked with the restaurant he told he is ready for refund and within 10 seconds how can food become prepared.

I have placed order at 08:34 PM on Zomato from pizza hut. The delivery time showing was 61 min at the time of order. The food was delivered at 09:47PM way to late than it was supposed to and also the food delivered was completely cold and has one item missing from the order. When I complaint about the same to the customer support agent they are not ready to refund stating that how is it possible food is cold, it was delayed only 3 min late and than after sometime they started giving automated replies.

I ordered chicken 65 biriyani from Al Taj, but I got something like chicken manchurian I mean how can they add sauce to biriyani. The chicken was very badly cooked and it smelled bad. I couldn’t eat the chicken and I got stomach ache after it. Then I seeked chat help and they said They can’t do anything about the food preparation method. I mean we order food from Zomato thinking it will taste good. But if they are not responsible then who is?

1. Placed an order for surprise for my uncle.
2. Payment confirmation negative aaya. (Order ID [protected] received in what's up a bit late or payment confirmation showed failure for this order)
3. Placed another order as previous order was also not showing successful in zomato (order I'd [protected])
4. Received confirmation of acceptance from the food provider company.
5. Received delivery man details.
6. He informed about double order placement and very moment, Opened the zomato application to find on cancellation of repeat order. Couldn't find any thing
informed on what's up chat window for cancelation due to double order.
7. Received a call from zomato customer care. I told him to cancel order. Then he started explaining me things that refund is not possible if I cancle .. I asked why.. it's logical that if same person has placed delivery for same location n same order in 1 to 2 minutes, most probably it may be due to technical payment issues. He kept on explaining n I understood my amount is not to be refunded due to IRRLOGICAL STAND of that man and don't know how GREAT COMPANY LIKE ZOMATO even after saying in 2-3 minutes distance for cancellation from customer why didn't cancel including FULL refund.
8.1. Anyways I felt it's okay to accept the order. But before I say anything either yes or no for the delivery of duplicate order, HE SAID OK I CANCELED, aren't they trained by zomato how to talk to customer and to obtain confirmation before making any changes.
Initially he explained, I understood and before i say ok go ahead with both order, apne assumption se he cancelled...

8.2. He told processing refund is nt in my hand. Agree.but then it's a courtesy and more over his duty that carelessly he cancelled the order. Then abruptly stopped answering me in between. Then said I'm sorry but can't do anything now, it's my mistake and I'll take care in future. I said I have recording and u also have recording of the conversation. He said okay. Our recording is for training purpose only. So in all, it's like he's not bothered.. aapko aage complaint krni he to kr do vala attitude.. disgusting behavior of a customer care person, rough talk and careless duty and my loss of refund due to his such shameless behavior.

8.3. Want justice for all these behavior of him and a ENTIRE ORFERS' REFUND INCLUDING BENEFIT OF LOSS OF MY RESPECT, TIME N USELESS EFFORTS OF TALKING TO UNTRAINED, EGOISTIC CARELEAS STAFF.

8.4. AS SUCH ZOMATO ITSELF MUST HAVE THE RECORDING TO GO THRU THE TONE OF THE CALL. CAN CHECK THE QUALITY OF HIS EXECUTIVE. I MAY THINK OF PROVIDING ENTIRE RECODING OF CALL IF NEED BE

I've been frequent loyal customer of zomato. This incident has showed me. Why shouldn't I go with other competitors then who atleast have courtesy of securing loss of customer n respect of customer.

Ordered Dalmakhni full plate from Tandoori hut through Zomato which took Rs 380( taxes+ delivery charge) but actual price of full plate is Rs 230. Hope I will get back the refund of extra charge soon.
