Zomato — being charged for a service which was not delivered | |||
Hi, I had ordered food using Zomato app from the restaurant Sawee, Baner Pashan Link Road, Next To Hotel Karolbaug, Baner, Pune 411045 on 24th June 2019. Case 1: Order no [protected] : This order was rejected because your delivery boy tried our phone once or twice and returned. We have clearly give the address and location is seen on the map. He could have come in and delivered the parcel. But he just went back. Also, Zomato has charged the entire amount for this. They say this the policy and it will not be refunded. Case 2: Immediately, when the first order was cancelled, I re-ordered the same items again from the same resturant. Order no[protected]. This order was delivered in one hour's time. But the food was pathetic. They served smelly and stale food. Order no [protected] and [protected] : this is the same order. So the restuarant served the same food which was ordered previously. In that case, why should charge me twice. And also, it is the fault of their delivery boy who did not deliver the food. The policies of Zomato are really pathetic and my overall experience has been horrible. I am deeply deeply disappointed and vow to never use your app again. Was this information helpful? | |||
