Zomato — fake review on zomato by food chain mumbai

Recently i have seen a trend of fake reviews on zomato specially with these people who call themselves to be food bloggers.

I was planning to visit plum by bent chair the other day with friends and stumbled across this review which goes by the handle @foodchainmumbai, it had given 5 stars and pictures of professional level quality.

I decided to check the profile out because it caught my eye where the bio lead to the instagram page.

I followed the page for some time and saw that that specific account gets invited to restaurants and needless to say, he/she doesn’t mention about them in the review which again, is compulsory as per the review policy set by your team.

Blogging about your food experience is one thing, getting invited and soliciting reviews for 5 star is misleading and god knows how many people are being misled by so called food bloggers.

Please look into this issue as it’s highly misleading and most of the reviews posted by that account have 5 stars, which again creates suspicion.
