Zomato — food- delivered without providing refund for the same. | |||||
I had ordered a biryani from Malabar Biriyani centre, Aminjikarai, chennai. I paid the order by online payment option. And they showed that the order is getting prepared and all those stuff. After 40 minutes they cancelled the order and they said that the guy was trying to call you and you weren't available on call. But the thing is that my mobile was with me all the time I did not receive any call or intimation from them. Also, the same time I was chatting with the support team regarding the order also and they said that the guy is on the way and exactly after 20 seconds the text popped up that your order has been cancelled. I had purchased it for around 160 rupees applying coupon worth 50% off. And the total amount of the food was Rs:85/- Inc of all taxes. But I didn't receive any calls and even food was cancelled after 40 minutes of waiting for my food to get delivered. Also, they mentioned that you weren't available to collect the food as per the screenshot attached below. They had deducted the amount and didn't even delivered the food. Also, I mailed 3-4 times to zomato regarding this on [protected]@zomato.com and I didn't receive any response from their end as well. I was really disappointed as I was a regular customer of zomato and this type of service was not expected from their end. Appreciate if they see this mail and revert me back.
